Refund Policy for The Suitcase League

Effective Date: August 31, 2025

At The Suitcase League, we design and curate unique travel experiences. Because we work with a wide range of airlines, hotels, and travel partners, refund policies may vary depending on the services booked. Please read the following carefully before confirming your reservation.

General Policy
  • All bookings made through The Suitcase League are subject to the individual refund and cancellation policies of the travel providers involved (e.g., airlines, hotels, tour operators).

  • Some bookings are non-refundable once purchased.

  • Other bookings may offer partial or full refunds if cancelled by specific dates outlined at the time of booking.

  • Refund eligibility and deadlines will always be communicated clearly to you before you finalize your booking.

Non-Refundable Bookings
  • Certain discounted airfares, hotel rates, tours, or promotional packages may be labeled non-refundable.

  • If you choose a non-refundable option, no refund will be provided for cancellations, regardless of circumstances (except where required by law).

Refundable Bookings
  • If your booking includes refundable options, you must cancel by the stated deadline in order to receive a refund.

  • Refunds will be issued according to the supplier’s policy and may be subject to processing fees.

  • After the refund deadline, the booking becomes non-refundable.

Trip Insurance
  • We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your trip investment.

  • Insurance can cover unexpected events such as illness, flight delays, lost luggage, or emergency cancellations.

  • The Suitcase League will be happy to provide you with trip insurance quotes and options before booking so you can make an informed decision.

The Suitcase League Service Fees
  • Any planning, consulting, or booking service fees charged by The Suitcase League are non-refundable, even if your trip is cancelled or modified.

  • This ensures we can fairly compensate for the time, expertise, and resources spent on your travel planning.

Force Majeure and Provider Cancellations
  • If a travel provider cancels your booking (for example, due to weather events, strikes, or unforeseen global events), refund eligibility will follow that provider’s specific policies.

  • The Suitcase League will advocate on your behalf but cannot guarantee outcomes beyond what the provider offers.

How Refunds Are Processed
  • Refunds, when applicable, will be processed back to the original method of payment.

  • Processing times may vary depending on the provider and financial institution, but typically range from 7–21 business days.
